Bob Rich Trucking was founded in San Francisco in 1959 by Charles Ramorino. He named the company after his two sons. In 1979 Mr. Ramorino acquired Schroeder Drayage Company, an old San Francisco business, and incorporated the two companies as Bob Rich Schroeder Trucking, Inc. Over the years, Bob Rich Schroeder Trucking distinguished itself by putting forth the extra effort to meet the requirements of a variety of customers.
Anticipating the needs of an expanding customer base, the
business focused on providing better inventory control and
consistent, on-time delivery of raw materials for production.
With an integrated trucking & warehousing operation, the
Ramorino family made “just-in-time” practices possible before
they were popular. Today's operation has grown into a modern
food grade warehousing and logistics business known as Peppertree
Warehousing & Distribution Company, and has taken on an
array of product lines from the construction, textile, household
goods, and electronics industries.
Answering to the challenges of a growing business flexing
alongside its’ customer’s ever-changing distribution systems
& environments, in 2005, Roadstar Trucking Incorporated
emerged as the new company name for this forward thinking
enterprise, and in partnership with Peppertree Warehousing
& Distribution Company, continues as a family run business
providing a higher quality of personalized services to the
import/export, shipping, and warehousing community.
